The "Val di Cornia Parks System" in the province of Livorno, was designed to strengthen,
publicise and protect the archaeological sites and natural environment of the area, as
well as to promote cultural truism. There are many ways to discover this territory; the most
stimulating is certainly to observe it directly through its Parks among its vast complex of
hiking tracks at all levels, on foot, by bicycle, or on horseback. Below you will find our parks
and the itineraries:

Archaeological Mining Park of San Silvestro(Campiglia M.ma)
Recommended itinerary:
Park museums – Temperino Mine–Via delle Ferruzze (laborious archaeological mining
route), in alternative transfer to the Valle Lanzi by park bus– Excursions to the medieval
castle of Rocca San Silvestro.

Archaeological Park of Baratti and Populonia (Piombino)
Recommended itinerary:
Tour of town centre - Necropolis of St. Cerbone - Excursion to the necropolis of the Caves.

Coastal Park of the Sterpaia(Piombino)
An enchanted place where you can immerge yourself among secular oak trees
and enjoy the small fauna of the woods, taking you across the sand dunes before
reaching the sea.

Coastal Park of Rimigliano (San Vincenzo)
A green strip of land facing the sea where the Mediterranean maquis reveals itself in a remarkable variety.

The natural  Park of Montioni
In the heart of the park the signs of man appear from the remains 
of the alum caves of the mining village dating back to the Napoleonic era.

Forest Park of Poggio Neri
Neri An uncontaminated woods full of chestnut, oak and holm oak trees. Not far from
the village of Sassetta, a green realm inhabited by roebucks and wild boar.
